JOB DESCRIPTION The Equipment Engineer will:
Follow and help develop new company's best practices and standard procedures.
Communicate technically with various internal departments to ensure that equipment is in compliance with EHS requirements and the equipment provided makes high quality assemblies to meet all product requirements.
Be responsible for providing all documentation required to support assembly equipment.
This includes but is not limited to operating instructions, electrical schematics, specifications, parameter settings, software backups etc.
Will assist in writing and execution of IQ protocol challenges ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to maintenance as required Address appropriately related manufacturing issues on a daily basis as need requires Troubleshoot PLC's, Electrical Schematics, Vision systems and Robotics.
Create and provide equipment specifications to vendors for quoting automated and manual equipment.
Review equipment quotes, leads design reviews and work with project teams to provide custom assembly equipment.
Key participant in DFMEA, PFMEA, Machine Risk Assessments, and CTQ processes assuring specifications are well defined and documented.
Key participant in equipment specifications, supplier selection, and qualification activities.
Key participant in all Validation activities.
Communicate and coordinate activities with multiple functional groups both within and outside of operations.
25% travel to manufacturing sites and supplier visits required.
(International and domestic).

Equipment Troubleshooting PLC and Machine Automation Mechanical Tool Design, AutoCAD, Solidworks Education Required:
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Years' Experience Required:
0 - 5 years Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
Studies equipment performance and reliability.
Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.

Required Knowledge and
Experience:
