Maintenance Manager

A modern heavy industrial manufacturing facility in North Haven, CT is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our professional and respected team.
Responsibilities Supervise 15-20
employees in the maintenance department Identifying, recommending, and coordinating engineered solutions for the installation, maintenance, and operation of heavy industrial machinery in a manufacturing facility Improve overall plant maintenance.
Work with electrical and mechanical engineers and technicians on the installation and implementation of electrical and mechanical solutions for heavy manufacturing equipment, utilizing hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment utilizing 480vac, VFD, and PLCs.

in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering - Strongly Preferred o Rolling mill / slitting experience a plus, but not required o 3-5 years Managerial/Supervisory experience of Industrial Mechanics/Electricians required.
o Needs to have 5
years' experience working in manufacturing facility with very large machines that draw a lot of horsepower o Must have hydraulic and pneumatic experience o PLC control preferred o Extensive experience as an Industrial Mechanic or licensed Electrician in an industrial manufacturing facility as well as experience managing a team of skilled industrial mechanics and/or electricians.
