Summary:
the part-time office staff will work closely with, and under the direction of, the Office Manager/Director.
The role will be primarily onsite at the office in North Haven, Connecticut, for 15 -20 hours per week with some flexible scheduling available.
One to three years of prior experience as an administrative assistant.
Excellent skills in verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, organization, collegiality, and timeliness.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, both word processing and spreadsheets Digital/technology skills :
Supports the daily work under the direction of the Manager/Director.
Provides support to units for IRS compliance as needed.
o Preparation of IRS form 990.
o Assist with compliance dates to assure dates are met.
o Works with the IRS on any unit problems, for example EIN numbers, filing of 990, etc.
Aides the Office Manager with pressing office tasks monthly.
Provides support for compliance with standards of affiliation (SOA) as needed.
o Officer Information Sheets o End of School year activities o Training schedules Event Support as directed.
o Reflections Program o Outstanding Educator Recognition o Symposium/Expo o Annual Meeting All office filing.
Digitizing of documents Office copying Stuffing of all mailings, packets, Cleans office weekly with the assistance of Office Manager Job Type:
